Ulli Vada / Vengaya Bajji / Onion Fritters is a popular south Indian snack. This is one of the favoured snack in the roadside Tea shops.We love to eat this on rainy days ;-)

- Onion-1 chopped fine
- Green chilli-2 chopped fine
- Curry leaves-few
- Ginger-1 piece chopped fine
- Hing-a pinch
- Besan / Kadala maavu -1 cup
- Cilantro-few
- Salt to taste
The preparation method:
- Mix besan/kadala maavu with onion,green chilli,ginger,curry leaves,salt,hing and coriander leaves.Add little water and make a batter.
- Heat oil in a pan. Take the mixture in a small ball size and flatten it into a round shape.
- Deep fry this till golden brown.
- Hot ulli vada is ready to savoured (especially on a rainy evening) !.
