What you need to prepare Mango Payasam:
- Mango - 1 ripe
- Milk - 3 cups
- Rice - 50 gms
- Sugar - 150 gms
- Roasted Cashew - 5
- Roasted Raisins - 5
- Cardamom - 1 pod
- Boil rice in a cup of milk in the pressure cooker.
- Peel the mango and grind into a pulp.
- Boil the remaining milk in a pressure pan till it is reduced to one and half cups
- Add the mango pulp,boiled rice and sugar to this and stir well for a few minutes.
- Garnish with cardamom,roasted cashew and raisins.
- Yummy Mango Payasam is ready to be served hot or cold.
