Date Almond Ladoo is a simple recipe with few ingredients and few steps. Its fairly healthy but definitely not a low calorie food but who cares !

- Dates - 1 cup de-seeded
- Almonds- 1/2 cup
- Honey- 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Saffron strands - 4
- Dessicated Coconut - 3 tbsp
The preparation method:
- Roast almonds for few mins.
- Soak almonds in hot water for few minutes then peel the skin off.
- Mix dates, almonds , honey, salt, saffron strands, cinnamon and cardamom powder.
- Grind coarsely in a mixie until mixture forms a thick paste.
- Roll the mixture into small balls.
- Roll the Date Almond Laddu in the dessicated coconut.
- Tasty Date Almond Laddu is ready to be served.
