Corn Capsicum curry

We had the Corn Capsicum curry at a restaurant and liked it so much that we decided to try it at home.It was not bad at all.


What you need for Corn Capsicum Curry:
  • Corn-1 Cup
  • Capsicum-1 Chopped into small pieces
  • Onion-1 finely chopped
  • Tomato-2 finely chopped
  • Green chilli-2 finely chopped 
  • Ginger-1 piece finely chopped
  • Garlic-2 pods finely chopped
  • Cumin-1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder-11/2tbsp
  • Chilli powder-1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder-1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder-a pinch
  • Cilantro-few
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and crack some cumin seeds.Saute onion,salt,ginger,garlic and green chilli.till the onions turn golden brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes and cooked well.
  • Add Turmeric powder,Coriander powder,garam masala,and chilli powder. Mix well.
  • Switch off the gas.and grind these contents after cooling it for a while.
  • Add this grinded mixture in a cooking vessel and boil.for 5 minutes and finally add capsicum.
  • When capsicum is getting cooked,add corn to it 
  • Boil till capsicum and corn are well cooked
  • Optionally,you can also add 1 tbsp of sugar.
  • Viola! Corn Capsicum curry is ready to served hot with roti/chappathi !
