Potato Chips - Indian Style

When it comes to potato chips or wafers , you can't stop with just one! Making Potato chips at home is easier , healthier and tastier compared to the packaged chips bought at stores.

 What you need for Potato Chips:
  • Potatoes - 4 medium
  • Salt - as required
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying
 The preparation method:
  • Wash and peel the skin from the potatoes.
  • Using the slicer, slice the potatoes into thin slices. Soak them in water until you fry them. Else it will turn brown.
  • Drain them on a kitchen towel.  
  • Once it is dried, deep fry in oil until it turns crisp. 
  • Sprinkle salt water over them while they are getting fried.
  • Place the chips over a tissue paper in order to remove the excess oil.
  • Add red chilly powder and mix well. 
  • Store in an air tight container.
