Palak Moong Dal masala is a very healthy and simple dish. This is a great side-dish for all kinds of rotis and even rice.

- Palak/spinach -1 cup chopped
- Moong daal -1/2 cup
- Onion- 1 sliced
- Green chilli -2
- Curry leaves -few
- Garlic-3 pods
- Ginger garlic paste -1 tbsp
- Urad daal-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder -a pinch
- Salt to taste
The preparation method:
- Heat oil in a pan.Fry urad dal .Add garlic pods. Saute for few minutes.
- Then add onion,green chilli,curry leaves ,ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
- Saute till the onions turn brown.Then add moong daal.Saute till turns brown.
- Then add spinach .Mix well. Dont cover with lid. Spinach will ooze out water.
- Cook till the spinach become dry.Switch off the flame .
- Tasty spinach moong daal Masala is ready to served with roti/rice.
