Rava ladoo

Rava Ladoo is a popular sweet which is also very simple to make. This is usually make during the Krishna Jayanthi, Ganesh chaturti and Diwali festivals. Preparing the Rava ladoo is very simple and easy but every ingredient should be cooked on a very slow flame with lots of patience to get the perfect rava ladoo.

What you need for Rava ladoo :
  • Rava /semolina - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom - 4 powdered
  • Raisins -10 no
  • Cashew nuts - 10 no
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee -2 tbsp
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
The preparation method :
  • Heat Ghee in a pan. Fry cashew nuts and raisins till they change the colour little bit.
  • Add  grated coconut then add semolina and saute them in very low flame till the mixture changes into light brown colour.
  • Add sugar and keep mixing in very low flame for few mins then switch off the flame and add milk to it. Continue mixing.
  • Lastly add Cardamom powder.Mix well and transfer it to a plate.
  • Take that laddu mixture into your hand and make small dumplings and let it dry for 2hrs.
  • Tasty Rava ladoos are ready to be enjoyed.
