What you need for Apple Halwa :
- Grated /Grinded apples - 4
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Cashew nuts - few
- Raisins - few
- Cardamom powder - pinch
- Vanilla essence - 2 drops
- Saffron - 6 strands
- Heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the apples and cook on a medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the sugar ,cashew nuts ,raisins and cardamom powder. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 7 to 8 minutes or till all the moisture evaporates, while stirring continuously. Keep aside to cool.
- Add the vanilla essence and saffron strands. Mix well.
- Tasty Apple Halwa is ready to be served.
