- Bitter gourd-2 finely chopped
- Onion-1 chopped
- Green chilli-2
- Mustard-1/2 tbsp
- Curry leaves-few
- Salt to taste
The preparation method:
- Heat some oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add chopped onion,green chilli and curry leaves.
- Saute for some time and then add bitter guard/pavakkais and salt.
- Add littile water and cook till the pavakkais' are well done.
- Pavakkai poriyal is ready to be served hot as a side dish for rice.
