Paneer Kothu chapathi

We found this recipe on a TV show and decided to try it for a change.It turned out to be tasty and filling.Try this out...


What you need for paneer kothu chapathi:

  • chapathi/roti - 5 Cut them into very small pieces
  • shredded paneer - 1/2 cup
  • onion - 2 finely chopped
  • tomatoes - 2, finely chopped
  • jeera powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • chilly powder - 1/ 2tbsp
  • green chillies - 2 
  • red chillies - 2
  • ginger - 1 piece finely chopped 
  • garlic -4 pods finely chopped 
  • garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
  • coriander leaves to garnish
  • mustard-1/2tbsp
  • jeera-1/2tbsp
  • curry leaves-few
Method

  • Heat oil in the pan. Add seasoning ingredients to it. 
  • When it splutters add onion, ginger, garlic to it. Fry well till they turn translucent
  • Add paneer, tomatoes , powder spices , Fry for some time next add chapathi pieces and salt to it. 
  • Cover and cook in simmer to blend in the spices with chapathi. Garnish with coriander leaves ,Stir well and serve hot. 
  • You can also add any vegetable ( cook and add it when onions fry) instead of paneer.
