Raddish/Mooli parantha

Thanks to our friend Aditi for teaching us how to make mooli parantha 

What you need for Raddish /Mooli Parantha:
  • Raddish -1 grated
  • Onion - 1/2 finely chopped
  • Green chilli - finely chopped
  • Turmeric powder -a pinch
  • Red chilli powder -1/2 tbsp
  • Cumin powder-1/4 tbsp
  • Amchoor powder-1/4 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves- finely chopped
  • Wheat flour -1 cup
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat a pan and add the grated raddish,onion,green chilli,turmeric powder ,coriander leaves,chilli powder,amchoor powder,cumin powder and little salt.Cook till all the water oozes out.Keep it aside.
  • Knead the wheat flour with enough water,little oil and salt .Knead the dough till it becomes soft.
  • Take a little dough and make small ball.Roll it with rolling pin .Put stuffing in the centre. Seal all the sides and again roll it. Dust with flour to avoid sticking.
  • Put the parantha onto the tawa. Cook both sides. sprinkle some oil /ghee as desired.
  • Mooli /Raadish parantha is ready to be served with yogurt or pickle.
