Dry Mushroom

Mushrooms are a great source of nutrients and minerals, and a tasty addition to a number of recipes. This is an easy and tasty mushroom recipe.

What you need for Dry Mushroom :
  • Button Mushroom - 200gms Cut in to 4 pieces
  • Mustard seeds -1/2tbsp
  • Urad dal - 1tbsp
  • Red chili - 2
  • Green chilli-1 slit
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Garlic - 5 pieces crushed
  • Onion - 1 thinly sliced
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 1tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tbsp
  • Chicken/meat masala powder -1tbsp
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds and Urad dal. Once it splutters add curry leaves,green chilli and Red chillies. Fry this for a second. Then add crushed Garlic and fry till it turns into light brown color.
  • Add thinly sliced Onion ,salt and fry till it turns into brown color. Fry well.
  • Then add cut Mushroom and fry well for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Cover the pan with a lid. Keep it in low flame for 2 to 3mins.
  • Sauté it for a minute. Then add Turmeric powder, Chilli powder, Coriander powderand Chicken or Meat masala powder . Fry till the smell of masala goes.
  • Once the smell of masalas goes,sprinkle some water and cover the pan with a lid.
  • Keep the stove in medium flame and cook for 3 to 4 mins or until the mushrooms are cooked.
