Coriander Chutney

This is a very tasty Indian chutney, prepared in moments in the blender.This basic chutney is perfect for using as a dipping sauce with main course dishes like Dosa and Idli.

What you need for Coriander chutney:
  • Onion - 1 chopped
  • Tomato - 2 chopped
  • Ginger - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 4 pods
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Red chilli powder - 1tbsp
  • Coconut - 1 cup grated
  • Coriander leaves - 1 cup chopped
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat oil in a pan. Saute onions,ginger,garlic,coconut ,curry leaves ,red chilli powder and salt.
  • When the raw smell goes, add tomatoes and saute well.
  • When the tomatoes are well done add coriander leaves and saute for a minute.
  • Switch off the gas and allow to cool.Then grind this mixture in a blender.
  • Yummy and tasty Coriander chutney is ready to serve with idli,dosa or even rice.
