Date Almond Ladoo

Date Almond Ladoo is a simple recipe with few ingredients and few steps. Its fairly healthy but definitely not a low calorie food but who cares !

What you need for Date Almond Ladoo:
  • Dates -  1 cup de-seeded
  • Almonds- 1/2 cup
  • Honey- 1 tbsp 
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbsp 
  • Saffron strands - 4
  • Dessicated Coconut - 3 tbsp 
The preparation method:
  • Roast almonds for few mins.
  • Soak almonds in hot water for few minutes then peel the skin off.
  • Mix dates, almonds , honey, salt, saffron strands, cinnamon and cardamom powder.
  • Grind coarsely in a  mixie until mixture forms a thick paste.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls.
  • Roll the Date Almond Laddu in the dessicated coconut.
  • Tasty Date Almond Laddu is ready to be served.
