Wheat Ladoo

Wheat Flour Ladoo is very simple traditional ladoo- one of various types of ladoos we have been trying. Wheat Ladoos are very nutritional , esp if made with pure ghee. It is good for pregnant women , recently conceived mothers and young children.

What you need for Wheat ladoo:
  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee - 1/4 cup
  • Cashews - 6
  • Raisins -few
  • Badam -4
  • Pista - 6
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbsp
The Preparation method:
  • Dry roast wheat flour well till color changes. Keep stirring continuously to avoid burning at the bottom.
  • Grind sugar to a fine powder,set aside.
  • Heat ghee and fry the nuts.
  • In a mixing bowl, take wheat flour,powdered sugar and cardamom powder.Whisk it well.
  • Heat ghee for a minute and then add it slowly.Mix well with the ladle.
  • When its warm enough to handle with hands shape them into ladoos.#
  • Cool down store in an airtight container
