- Moong daal-2 cup
- Small onion-5 whole peeled
- Tomato-1 chopped fine
- Green chilli-2 slit
- Cumin-1/2 tbsp
- Ginger-1 piece
- Mustard seeds-1/2 tbsp
- Curry leaves-few
- Cilantro-few
- Red chilli-2
- Turmeric powder-a pinch
- Hing -a pinch
The preparation method:
- Pressure cook the moong daal with green chilli,tomato,ginger ,2 small onions,turmeric powder,hing and salt.
- Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds and crackle cumin seeds.Fry red chilli,curry leaves,and small onion for a minute.
- Mix this with cooked dal .
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Tasty and healthy moong dal is ready to served with rice or roti.
