Bhaji for Paav

Paav Bhaji is a popular Maharastrian fast-food dish which is a big hit with all snack lovers.We love it as a evening snack. Paav is the bread and Bhaji is the curry.Paav can be bought ready made from the store.The following is the recipe for the bhaji.

What you need for Bhaji:
  • Potato-1 chopped 
  • Carrot-2 chopped
  • Beans-12 chopped
  • Green peas-1/2 cup
  • Corn-1/2 cup
  • Capsicum-1 - chopped
  • Cauliflower-1/2 
  • Onion-1 chopped
  • Green chilli-4
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
  • Cilantro- a few
  • Butter-2 tbsp
  • Pav bhaji masala-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Steam all the vegetables with little salt and green chilli in a pressure cooker. Mash all vegetables till no big vegetable pieces are visible. Keep this aside.
  •  Heat  some oil in a  pan and saute the onions till they turn golden brown. 
  • Add tomatoes,salt,all the curry powders and fry till the oil floats on top. 
  • Add our steamed vegetables to the pan and boil for a while by adding a little water.
  • When all the vegetables are cooked thoroughly garnish with coriander and lemon juice 
  • Hot and spicy Bhaji is ready to be served with Paav !
