Pumpkin Eriseri is a popular dish on Kerala Sadhya or Feast menu at the weddings or festivals. This dish is very simple to make and yummy in taste.

- Pumpkin or Squash- 1/2 cut into cubes
- Coconut - 1/2
- Cumin - 1/2 tbsp
- Red chilli - 4
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
- Curry leaves - a few
- Salt - to taste
The preparation method:
- Boil the pumpkin cubes with salt, a pinch of turmeric powder and little water.
- Grind the coconut with cumin and red chillies.
- Add this grinded mixture to the cooked pumpkins and boil for some more time.
- For seasoning or tadka , fry the mustard seeds , red chillies and curry leaves in a little oil and add it to our erisseri.
- Yummy Erisseri is ready to be served hot with rice.
