Aloo Gobi Mutter

Aloo(potato) Gobi(cauliflower),mutter(peas) are healthy and tasty veggies on it own.When all these three veggies are come together in one dish - there are no words to describe the outcome. We love having Aloo Gobi Mutter with our roti.

What you need for Aloo Gobi Mutter:
  • Gobi/Cauliflower-5 pieces
  • Potato-1 chopped into cubes
  • Onion-1 chopped fine
  • Tomato -1  chopped fine
  • Green chilli-2 slit
  • Green peas-1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder-a pinch
  • Coriander powder-2 tbsp
  • Chilli powder-1 tbsp
  • Kasthoori methi/fenugreek powder-1/4 tbsp
  • Amchoor powder-1/4 tbsp
  • Garam masala-1/2 tbsp
  • Cumin-1/2 tbsp
  • Cilantro -a few
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste for a minute.
  • Add chopped tomato,onion and slit gr chilli and add turmeric cook till oil ozzes out .
  • Make a paste of the coriander,chilli,kasthoori methi,amchoor,garam masala powder by adding a little water.
  • Add this paste to the pan and mix well.
  • Add potatoes,cauliflower and mutter. Add salt. Mix well.  Fry for few minutes. 
  • Cover the pan and simmer for about 15 minutes in low flame until the vegetables are cooked.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Tasty and spicy Aloo Gobi Mutter is ready to be served with roti/chappathi.
