Mushroom curry

Mushrooms are easy to cook as well as great to eat and full of all the good stuff. Time for a yummy mushroom curry.

What you need for Mushroom Curry:
  • Mushroom-1 cup sliced into thin pieces
  • Onion-1 chopped fine
  • Tomato-1 chopped fine
  • Coconut-1/2 cut into small pieces
  • Fennel seeds-1/2tbsp
  • Cinnamon-1piece
  • Cloves-1piece
  • Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
  • Turmeric powder-a pinch
  • Chicken masala-2tbsp
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion with salt till the onions turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.Add the chopped tomato and cook till they are done.
  • Add the chicken masala powder or any home made masala powder, mushroom pieces and mix well.
  • Grind the coconut pieces with fennel seeds,cloves and cinnamon and add the grinded mixture to the pan..
  • Cook till the mushroom are well cooked.
  • Garnish with cilantro leaves. 
  • Yummy Mushroom curry is ready to be served hot with roti or rice.
