Egg Bhurji

Egg Bhurji is similar to scrambled eggs. The difference lies in the addition of sauteed chopped onions, chilies, and optional spices.This is a simple but tasty recipe which can be made in a jiffy.

What you need for Egg Bhurji:
  • Egg-3 beaten well
  • Onion-1 chopped
  • Green chilli-2 chopped
  • Tomato-1 chopped
  • Curry leaves-few
  • Coriander leaves-few
  • Pepper powder-1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat oil in a pan.Drop onion,green chilli,curry leaves,coriander leaves and salt.
  • Sauté well.When the onions turn golden brown, add diced tomato pieces.
  • Add the beaten egg in to it.Keep mixing well till the egg is cooked.This should not take long.
  • Finally sprinkle pepper powder.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
