Bitter Gourd Crisps / Pavakka Kondattam

Bitter Gourd Crisps / Pavakka Kondattam is a very healthy recipe which goes great with steaming sambhar or curd rice.You can prepare this in large quantities and store them in a air tight container.

What you need for Paavakka kondattam:
  • Bitter Gourd / Paavakka - 2
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Cut the paavakka in to round pieces.
  • Boil the paavakka with salt.Switch off the flame when the paavakka is half done.
  • Spread this out on a sheet and set this outside under direct sunlight until its completely dry
  • When needed deep fry in oil.
  • Serve the crispy bitter gourd with steaming rice.
