Besan ladoos are sweet dessert made from gently roasted gram flour. Ladoos are usually rich in calories but are too tempting to be avoided :-)

- Besan / gram flour - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup (powdered)
- Pistachio - 5
- Cardamom - 4 (powdered)
The Preparation method:
- Heat ghee in a pan . Add besan /gram flour and gently roast in low flame.Add the sugar.
- Roast till the besan turns to light brown color. Add cardamom powder.Mix well.
- When the color has changed you will also be start to smell the sweetness of roasted basen.
- Switch off the flame.Allow it to cool.
- To make the ladoos, take about 2 tablespoons of warm basen mixture into your palm. Gently press the mixture between your palms to form a smooth, round ball.
- Decorate with pistachios.
- Tasty Besan ladoo is ready to be enjoyed.
- You can store the ladoos in an air tight container.
