- Potato - 2
- Drumstick leaves -1 cup
- Onion -1 chopped
- Green chilli -2 slit
- Tomato -1 puree
- Garlic - 4 pods
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Coriander powder -1 tbsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tbsp
- Mustard seed - 1/2 tbsp
- Urad daal and channa daal -1 tbsp each
- Butter-1 tbsp Optional
- Salt to taste
The preparation method :
- Heat oil/butter in a pan. Splutter mustard and crackle cumin seeds .Fry urad daal and chana daal.Add crushed garlic and saute for a minute .
- Now add onion ,green chilli and salt.Add turmeric powder,chilli powder and coriander powder .Mix well.
- Now add the drumstick leaves.Saute for a minute then add tomato puree and mix well.Add the boiled potato and allow it to cook for five minutes.
- Healthy and tasty potato drumstick leaves ready to serve with rice or roti.
