Chicken Soup

Chicken soup is a favorite comfort food and whether it's a cold or a hangover cure you're after, chicken soup can cure what ails you.Chicken soup is also well known for its soul and body-healing properties. There are many ways of making chicken soup.This is one of the easy methods.

What you need for chicken soup:
  • Chicken-200gm cut into small pieces
  • Carrot-1 peeled and cut into small pieces.
  • Spring onion-2 chopped fine
  • Cabbage-1/2 cup chopped fine
  • Bay leaf-1
  • Soya sauce-1tbsp
  • Pepper powder-1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli tomato sauce-1 tbsp
The preparation method:
  • Shred the chicken into small pieces.You could also add a few bone pieces.
  • Pressure cook all the ingredients together with enough water.Go easy on the salt and pepper.You can always add it in the end.
  • Switch off the gas after 3 whistles. Check for salt and spice level.
  • Chicken soup is ready to be served hot for your body and soul.
