Besan ka Cheela

Recently we had visited our good friends Aditi ,Suneet and naughty Paavu's place and they served us a delicious North Indian dish called 'Besan Ka Cheela'. We instantly loved this dish and learnt the recipe.

What you need for Besan ka Cheela:
  • Besan-2 cups
  • Onion-1 chopped fine
  • Green chilli-2 chopped fine
  • Cumin-1/2 tbsp
  • Chilli powder-1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Mix besan/kadala maavu with chopped onion,green chilli,curry leaves ,red chilli powder,salt ,cumin/shahi jeera and little water.Ensure there are no lumps in this mixture.
  • Take a tawa and make cheela just like we make dosas.
  • Tasty Besan ka Cheela is ready to be served with ketchup or chutney.
