Vegetable Cutlet

Vegetable Cutlet is a wonderful appetizer dish which will satisfy any spicy cravings for a light afternoon snack or accompaniment during meals. It goes well with tomato or mint sauce.
What you need for Vegetable Cutlet:
  • Carrot - 1 large
  • Beat root - 1
  • Potato  - 1 
  • Green Peas - 1/4 cup
  • Onion - 1 medium finely chopped
  • Green chilli - 1 finely chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala -  1/2 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs - 2 tbsp
  • Wheat flour or Maida -1 tbsp
Preparation Method :

  • Finely chop all the vegetables and wash it.
  • Boil all vegetables till they become soft.
  • Mash the vegetables and keep it aside.
  • Heat ½ tbsp oil in a pan and add chopped onion. When it turns golden brown , add ginger garlic paste, add coriander, cumin, garam masala powder.
  • When oil starts leaving from the spicy masala add the mashed vegetables.
  • Make small balls (round shape) or any shape you like.
  • Take the wheat flour or maida and make a thin paste then dip the vegetables balls into the flour paste.
  • Roll the vegetables balls with the breadcrumbs and fry it for ½ minutes on hot oil. Make sure heat should be medium.
  • When the balls turns to golden brown take it out from oil. Remember don’t fry it too much otherwise that will burn. 
  • Delicious Indian vegetables cutlets are ready to serve with tomato / mint sauce or any chutney...
