Paneer Corn Masala

The mix of paneer and sweet corn plus the spices, makes this nice and hot dish a perfect change from the regular dishes.


What you need for Paneer Corn Masala:
  • Sweet Corn – 1 Cup
  • Paneer – 200 gms, cubed
  • Onion – 2  finely chopped
  • Tomato -2 (puree)
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder –1/4 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Chilly Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Kasoori Methi – a pinch
  • Sugar –1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
The preparation method:
  • Heat a pan with oil, splutter cumin seeds. add the chopped onions and salt. Sauté for 2 minutes. 
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the onions turn brown.
  • Then add the tomato puree and sauté for a while .
  • Add the  Turmeric, Chilly garam masala and Coriander Powder, Saute well. 
  • Now, add the sweet corn and paneer cubes. Add sugar.  Stir well.
  • Add little water and kasoori methi. Cook for few minutes.
  • Very tasty Paneer corn masala is ready to be served with chapathi/roti
