Chicken with spring onions is a common Chinese dish found in many restaurants today. It is very easy to make and you can either serve it hot or cold.

- Chicken-1/2 kg
- Spring onion-1 bunch
- Cumin seeds-1 tbsp
- Dessicated coconut-1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-a pinch
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
- Chilli powder-1 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander powder-1 1/2 tbsp
- Lemon juice : 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation Method:
- Chop the green leaves of the spring onion very finely. Grind or chop finely the bulb parts.
- In a pan add oil, cumin seeds, coconut powder, onion paste mix well then add ginger-garlic paste,salt, mix well and cook till light golden brown colour.
- Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder.
- then add chicken and mix well.
- Finally add chopped spring onion leaves , close it with a lid and cook till the chicken is tender.
- Once chicken is done, add chopped coriander, garam masala powder and lemon juice and serve with rice or roti.
